The department of Anthropology –FC has organized a seminar on “Women Rights and Empowerment in Islam” at female campus.
This seminar was organized by the student body of Anthropology deptt under the guidance of Ms Anam Awan; and was attended by the female students from all the faculties of IIUI. This seminar is an initiative of the chair to prepare students of female campus IIUI celebrate Women Day.
Dr. Noreen Saher, Chairperson, Department of Anthropology has delivered the session on the subject. She motivated the students to know about the rights and privileges given by the religion Islam as this enables them to live with honour in the age of diversity and Internationalization. Prof Dr Muhammad Khan, the chief guest of the seminar, also shared his stance on the rights of women and empowerment in Islam.
