President, International Islamic University, Islamabad (IIUI), Dr. Ahmed Yousif Al-Draiweesh visited Jamiya Ashrafia , Lahore, where he met the leadership of the institution and called upon the Muslim world to forge unity among the ranks in his address.
The IIUI President was received by the Head, Jamiya Ashrafia, Lahore Maulana Fazl Raheem and Nazim of Jamiya Hafiz Asad Ubaid.
Talking to media, on the occasion, IIUI President said that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have exemplary ties. H
e said that both sides are pride of these strongest relations. He added that he was keen to enhance bilateral educational cooperation. IIUI President also felicitated Maulana fazl e Raheem on his selection as member Council of Islamic Ideology (CII).
Later, IIUI President also addressed the students and stressed upon them to pay special attention to the new advancements. He furthered that contemporary education is a pre-requisite for the progress and prosperity of nations. Dr. Al-Draiweesh urged the students to make Islam and its message of peace a priority to be disseminated across the world. He also hailed the services of Jamiya Ashrafiya and said it was providing quality education.
