Professor. Dr. N. B. Jumani, Vice President Administration & Finance (A&F) visited the hostels at male campus and reviewed overall situation. He was briefed by Dr. Abrar Anver, Provost about security and overall affairs related to hostels . The Vice President was also accompanied by the Security Consultant Brig (R ) Muhammad Saleem Khan.
The Vice President A&F desired that students shall not face any problem and their facilitation must be given top priority. He also reviewed situation of cleanliness, hygiene, security related issues, damages , electrical and gardening. He also met with the students and listened to their problems. He conveyed that IIU President has directed all the concerned to solve issues of students on priority and provide them an ideal living environment. He also checked maintenance registers, availability of staff and mess facility at the hostels.
The Vice President directed that renovation of the identified rooms must be completed on priority basis and an overall report regarding maintenance, cleanliness and renovation may be submitted to him every month.
Checking the cameras, security arrangements and other allied affairs he said that no compromise shall be made on security and any untoward activity to damage the gadgets, or security breach shall not be tolerated. He opined that the university management is keen to make IIUI an ideal hub of learning and there shall be no place for incompetency, corruption and lethargy. On the occasion, the Vice President also met with specially-abled student Mr. Ali Nawaz and advised to work hard and remain devoted to education.
