A one-day training workshop on Internet Searching Skills and Cloud Computing was organized by the Central Library of International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI).
During the workshop Mr. Muhammad Zulqarnain Akhtar, Chief Librarian highlighted importance of searching the accurate and up-to-date information from the ever increasing data on the web. He urged the library professionals to learn the latest searching skills to help library patrons in locating the required information quickly and easily.
Mr. Muhammad A. Ganaee, Principal Librarian delivered a comprehensive presentation on different search techniques on internet to the workshop participants. Mr. Farooq Azam Khan, Assistant Director (Network) elaborated the Cloud Computing and its usage in routine office work.
The training workshop was attended by all professional and para-professional staff including male and female, working in different sections of the Central Library.
