In the light of International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI)’s newly developed strategic plan and its main focus on learning, performa for program specification and course specification developed by Quality Assurance Directorate were discussed in detail in two separate sessions for regular and visiting faculty members organized by Department of Education (Female Campus).
Dr. Shazia Naureen (Incharge, Department of Education) briefed about the strategic plan and provided orientation about the teaching quality and guided the faculty members about meeting the deadlines. Dr. Fouzia Ajmal (Assistant Professor) briefed the faculty members about the program specifications with reference to Higher Education Commission’s guidelines and the scope of the program.
Both resource persons focused on curriculum (semester wise program study plan), Program Learning Outcomes Mapping Matrix (according to accreditation council), aspects on quality of teaching and learning. Furthermore, detailed description regarding alignment of course objectives, learning outcomes and assessment strategies for course specification were shared with the faculty members.
