THREE-DAY WORKSHOP ON SEERAH STUDIES ORGANIZED BY REGIONAL DAWAH CENTER KARACHI CONCLUDES IN QUETTA

Regional Dawah Center (Sindh), Karachi, International Islamic University, Islamabad, organized a three-day Islamic training program for religious seminary teachers in Balochistan Quetta in which 32 teachers from different Madrasas of Quetta and surrounding area participated.

During the three day training program important topics were discussed which included studying Quran and Seerah, teacher as leader, how to determine the goals in Dawah, importance of communication in teaching, methods of teaching, modern jurisprudence issues and our responsibilities, jurisprudential and religious difference, limitations, Islamic concept of success, scholars and modern challenges, positive and negative effect of media, Hadith sciences and modern research and how to reduce workload or stress.

Prof. Dr. Abdul Ali Achakzai and Maulana Mufti Mohibullah Agha former Deans of Department of Islamic Studies, University of Balochistan, Quetta, participated in closing ceremony as chief guests.

Renowned scholars expressed views that included Professor Dr. Mahmood Ghaznavi of the Department of Mass Communication, University of Karachi, Maulana Muhibullah Agha of University of Nadwah, Maulana Samiullah Saadi of Jamia Uloom Islamia Zhob, Jamia Darul Uloom Zakaria Shaldara Quetta. Mufti Afzal Kasi, In-charge Regional Dawah Center (Sindh) Karachi Dr. Syed Aziz ur Rehman and Coordinator Dr. Shahzad Chana.

Dr. Achakzai addressing the closing ceremony said that the process of training of mankind is legacy of Prophets till now and a teacher has an important place in the society. He said that this program of Da’wah Academy in this era is of great importance for the teachers of religious madrasas, who have got an opportunity to increase their knowledge by participating in this three-day training workshop.

Dr. Syed Aziz ur Rehman addressing the concluding ceremony said that the Dawah Academy has been organizing training programs from the past three decades for the training of people who are associated with different professions in the society serving the humanity.

Earlier, Program Coordinator Shahzad Chana highlighted the activities of Dawah Academy and introduced the training program to the participants. Dr. Shehzad Chana presented a brief report of the program and the participants in the event expressed their views and called the program useful and demanded the organizers of Dawah Academy to extend the duration of the program in the future. At the end, the chief guest distributed certificates and gifts of books from Da’wah Academy among participants of the concluding ceremony.
