The Sports Gala 2023 at the female campus of the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) will commence on Wednesday, November 15th.
A meeting for the preparations of this mega event was chaired by Incharge Female Campus Dr. Sumayya Chughtai. It was also attended by Students Advisor female Dr. Sadia Saleem and her team and the relevant officials of the organizing team.
The meeting reviewed various important arrangements such as grand opening, participation of faculties, active network of the focal persons and publicity of the mega event. The chair desired that the female students must be provided maximum opportunities to showcase their talent of sports in this week-long event.
Earlier, Chair was apprised that colors have been assigned to the faculties and dedicated shirts were handed over to the students accordingly by the Students Advisor.
Organized by the Directorate of Students’ Affairs of female campus, this gala will witness the talent of thousands of female students who will participate from 11 faculties of the university.
The event includes competitions of tug of war, fun games, indoor games, E-gamming, table tennis, badminton, volleyball, basketball, cricket, football, chess and competitions of athletics. The students after trials in their respective faculties, are all set to showcase their talent.
