Sharī‘ah Academy, International Islamic University, Islamabad organized a three-day Islamic law orientation Course for law students at Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University, Sheringal (SBBUS).
In this course more than one hundred students and faculty members of the university participated. Main topics of the course included; Sources of Islamic Law, Muslim Family Laws ordinance 1961, Islamic Provisions of Constitution of Pakistan, Judicial separation, Financial System of Pakistan, Islamic Criminal Law, Islamic Banking and Islamic law of inheritance. Prof. Dr. Abdul Haye Abro Director-General Sharī‘ah Academy, Dr. Habib ur Rehman, Dr. Muhammad Asghar Shahzad and Hafiz Ahmad Waqas delivered lectures on aforesaid topics.”
The Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University, Sheringal’s leadership and faculty hailed the activity and termed it as a valuable opportunity to benefit from the mutual experiences.
