The Shariah Academy, International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI), organized a one-day Law Orientation Program on February 11, 2026, at Jamiah Ghousia Rizwiyah (Jamiah Islamabad) for students of Takhassus fi al-Fiqh. The program aimed to familiarize madrassa students with the constitutional system of Pakistan and its practical implications.
During the sessions, detailed presentations were delivered on the structure, fundamental principles, and key features of the Constitution of Pakistan, along with an overview of the country’s legal and judicial framework. The discussions highlighted the importance of constitutional governance and the rule of law while linking traditional fiqh studies with contemporary legal awareness.
The participants actively engaged in interactive discussions and appreciated the initiative, terming it a valuable step toward broadening their academic and professional perspectives. As part of the program, a visit to the Islamabad IT Campus located within the premises of Jamiah Ghousia Rizwiyah was also arranged.
Representatives of both institutions reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening collaboration in order to enhance madrassa students’ understanding of the law of the land and enable them to contribute positively and constructively to society.
