Seminar on Research Methodologies and Academic Networking Held

A seminar on “Research Methodologies: Networking Opportunities and Collaborative Projects” was held at the Female Campus of the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI).

The session featured Professor Dr. Huma Ibrahim from the University of North Carolina, Charlotte, USA.

Dr. Huma discussed research methodologies, academic networking, and collaboration opportunities for students. She explained topic selection, hypothesis formulation, and research methods while highlighting platforms like LinkedIn and ResearchGate for academic connections. She also provided guidance on approaching international scholars and developing research proposals for academic opportunities in the USA.

Earlier, the event commenced with an introduction of Dr. Ibrahim by Dr. Sofia Hussain, followed by a welcome address from Professor Dr. Amna Mehmood, Incharge of the Female Campus. Dr. Mehmood expressed her gratitude to the guest speaker for traveling from the USA to share her expertise and engage with students through a series of lectures and discussions. She emphasized the significance of such scholarly interactions in enhancing students’ academic and professional growth.

The event included a Q&A session where students discussed research development and international study prospects. The seminar concluded with remarks from Dr. Munazza Yaqoob, acknowledging Dr. Huma’s contributions.

Faculty members and students from multiple disciplines attended the session.
