Role of universities is imperative in success and utilization of CPEC, Said Rector International Islamic University, Islamabad (IIUI), Dr. Masoom Yasinzai.
This he said during his meeting with a Chinese delegation of Shanghai Feiyun Company of China which was headed by the CEO Peter Xie.
The Rector said that there is a dire need of mutual cooperation and exchange programs between Pakistan and Chinese universities while adding that Pakistani human resource must be focused who could be able to work in the projects.
Dr. Masoom also briefed the delegation about IIUI and told that university was keen to dissemination Islam’s message of peace and love. He said that a large number of Chinese students were studying at the university and IIUI was keen to enhance its educational ties with Chinese universities in various disciplines.
The delegation thanked IIUI Rector for assuring cooperation and said that CPEC will bring a lot of opportunities for both sides to work together in various fields.
