Guidelines for Contributors to Al-Tibyān
 
The journal of Al-Tibyān is deemed a research based pool, having multicoloured research publications, presenting original and unpublished research papers for its readers over the world in Arabic language on Arabic literature and linguistics. The contributors, not the Editor, shall be legally responsible for any feedback in regard to their research. All submissions are subjected to a preliminary reading by the Editorial Board, later qualified articles are sent to last but not least the two experts-cum-referees for peer double-blind review accordingly.
All manuscripts are subjected to the following guidelines:
  1. It must be hypothetically, practically, grammatically correct and self-written having a lofty style.
  2. It must be unpublished as well as not sent to anywhere else.
  3. It must be original whether being a part none of already published manuscript, article, academic thesis or book in its all kinds or whether they are for the contributor himself or someone else.
  4. The contributor is not permitted to send his manuscript to anywhere else after being it considered for publishing in Al-Tibyān except if he gets written permission from the Editor-in-Chief of the journal.
  5. Qur’anic verses, prophetic sayings and poetry, even all considerable texts if quoted in the manuscript, must be punctuated properly.
  6. It must be ensured before final submission that each paper is having two abstracts; one in Arabic and one in English language; the length of each abstract should not exceed 200 words and must be having up to 6 keywords for each one.
  7. Manuscript title must be in both Arabic and English language.
  8. Only the electronic submission in MS-Word format is accepted and should be sent to the journal’s e-mail address following the font face “Sakkal Majalla”, having 13 size for the manuscript text and 10 for the footnotes.
  9. The format of the modified manuscript page must be as followed; Width (8.5), Height (11); from Edge: Header (1.0), Footer (0.8).
  10. Margin from Top must be 1.8, Bottom 1.0, Right 2.0 and Left 1.5 with line spacing 1.0 without producing any Header and Footer from Built-In Bar.
  11. All diagrams, graphs, tables and charts are to be laid down contextually, figured out consecutively and serially and all related notes are to be put next to each one immediately.
  12. References should be produced in the form of footnotes on each page separately.
  13. If a referenced person, used in the manuscript text, has passed away, should be followed the date of death according to both, Hijri and Gregorian calendars.
  14. All Non-Arabic names, if they are used in the manuscript text, must be composed in Arabic style and spelled in their Latin words into brackets properly, and mentioned completely at first time.
  15. Manuscript text must follow the CMS (The Chicago Manual of Style) in all references.
  16. Manuscript text must be forwarded to the Journal’s e-mail or posted to the given address after being copied on CD.
  17. Contributors are entitled to receive one copy of the concerned issue including 15 off-prints of their published manuscript text.
