REGIONAL DAWAH CENTER SINDH ORGANIZES WEEK-LONG ISLAMIC TRAINING PROGRAMS FOR STUDENTS

The Regional Dawah Center of the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIU) has taken a significant step in promoting educational initiatives, with the aim of expanding students’ knowledge in the field of hadith documentation and its authenticity.

The Regional Dawah Center Karachi has organized a comprehensive week-long training program, with the fourth course held on September 1, 2023, under the title “Hadith Documentation.” Prior to this, successful courses on various topics, including art and invitation, Sufism, and the study of Seerah (biography of the Prophet PBUH), have been conducted over two to three weeks.

The “Hadith Documentation and Authenticity” course featured the participation of 57 scholars from religious schools, with a commitment to educate students on the history of hadith. The course’s primary objective is to enable students to understand the significance of hadith and its historical context. The program was comprised of two sessions,  the first was held on August 25 and the second on September 1, 2023.

Dr. Syed Azizur Rahman, Director of the Regional Dawah Center (Sindh) Karachi, expressed that it is important for religious schools and students by imparting knowledge about hadith documentation and authenticity. He emphasized that through this course, students will develop a deep interest in studying the history of hadith and gain insights into the importance of this field of knowledge.

Throughout the course, special attention was given to the discussion of hadith documentation, as well as information on the initial and non-initial manuscripts of hadith. This educational initiative is a significant step toward providing students in religious institutions with a better understanding of this field, with the hope of enhancing their educational achievements.
