RECTOR IIUI VISITS PRAYER AREA AT NEW CAMPUS

Professor Dr. Samina Malik, Rector of International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) Friday visited the Prayer area established at Sector H-10 of the new campus and issued instructions to Administration, Planning Department and Security Officials to improve the existing facilities provided at the prayer area.

 

On this occasion, Dr. Samina Malik instructed to resolve the existing issues highlighted, on immediate basis and asked all relevant departments to take early action and submit a report on priority basis. In this regard IIU Rector said that before the construction of grand mosque endowed by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, who has decided to build King Salman bin Abdul Aziz grand mosque at the New Campus, it would be ensured to provide all kind of facilities for offering prayer keeping in view of weather conditions both in summer and winter.

 

IIUI Dr. Samina Malik said that a comprehensive strategy would be devised during a meeting with Dr. Hathal Hamoud Alotaibi, President, IIUI and necessary measures would also be taken before the start of construction work of the Grand Mosque at New Campus.

 

During this visit, IIUI Rector was briefed by the Director Administration, Mr. Inaam Ul Haq, officials from Planning, Estate Management and Security departments of the university.
