Islamic Training Course for Teachers of religious institutions of Karachi concluded at Regional Dawah Center (RDC, Sindh), Karachi in which as many as fourty scholars and teachers from different religious institutions of Karachi participated. The Training program was organized in collaboration with Shariah Academy International Islamic University.
Addressing to the participants of closing ceremony Director General Shariah Academy, IIUI, Dr. Abdul Hai Abro lauded important role of Dawah and Shariah Academy regarding Islamic training courses for people of different sectors. He said that it is the responsibility of Ulema to teach scholars regarding Shariah. He also stressed upon unity of Ulema to counter the prevailing challenges and said that Islam is a religion of peace and this message must reach to all corners.
During the training program participant teachers had motivational sessions and lectures included team management, teacher as leader, importance of communication in teaching, organization of time, modern biography in Urdu, modern research methodology and its need and importance, scholars and modern constraints, educational psychology. , Introduction to basic sources and references of Islamic sciences, family laws in Pakistan, legal and judicial system of Pakistan, modern jurisprudential issues, Shariah objectives, renewal of principles of jurisprudence.
The concluding ceremony was also attended by Dr. Mahmood Ghaznavi, Former Chairperson, Department of Mass Communication, University of Karachi, Incharge Regional Dawa Center, Dr. Syed Aziz-ur-Rehman, Dr. Shehzad Channa, Coordinator RDC, Hafiz Ahmad Waqas, Ibrahim Amir Hatem from Shariah Academy, IIUI and a large number of course participants and scholars also attended the ceremony.
Addressing to the course participants Incharge Regional Dawah Center (Sindh) Karachi hoped that the Ulema and Fazils will strive for the promotion of Da’wah, Religion and Sharia Sciences in their respective fields.
At the end, certificates were distributed among the participants. Participants were also given gifts of books published by Dawah and Shariah Academies of IIUI.
