A two-day workshop titled “Muslim Education System and its Continuity: Objectives, Issues, and Goals” was organized by the International Islamic University’s Regional Dawah Center (RDC), Sindh, Karachi.
The session was attended by 30 participants, including students specializing in religious studies and others from various fields.
During the workshop, Dr. Syed Aziz ur Rahman, In-Charge Regional Dawah Center, addressed the participants. He expressed that Muslims had developed an organized and purposeful education system centuries ago, which led to significant progress in various fields of knowledge and arts. He emphasized that the system promoted monotheism, love for the Prophet’s (PBUH) life and the ability to become good citizens. He added that if the Muslim education system were effectively implemented today, Muslims could surpass all the nations in both Islamic studies and modern technology.
The session also included a questions and answers segment where participants inquired about the legal aspects of the Muslim education system and its continuity, which were briefed during the sessions.
At the end of the program In-Charge RDC shared that similar sessions be held in the future as well. Certificates were awarded among workshop participants during the concluding ceremony of the workshop.
