RDC HOLDS SEMINAR ON SOCIAL JUSTICE IN PAKISTAN

A one-day seminar for lawyers was organized by Regional Dawah Center (RDC) of Dawah Academy, International Islamic University Islamabad.

The main theme of the seminar was “Social Justice in Pakistan”. Speaking on the topic of social justice in the first session, renowned trainer and intellectual Nisar Musa Baloch said that laws should be used to improve the society. He said it is important that we present the prevailing laws in a positive manner. He said that there is a strong basic concept and structure of social justice in Islam. Islam guides us completely for the welfare of the people in the welfare state. No country can develop without fair system and social justice.

In the second session, in-charge Regional Dawah Center (Sindh), Karachi, Dr. Syed Aziz ur Rehman, said that Pakistan is constitutionally an Islamic state. The foundation of the establishment of Pakistan is the Lahore Resolution and Pakistan was established on a real basis of Kalima e Tayibah. He said that the structure of the constitution for Pakistan is in accordance with the basic teachings and thoughts of Islam. He said that scholars were prominent among the experts who served during the establishment of Pakistan to steer Pakistan in the right direction. He said that the Ulema of different disciplines presented their recommendations containing 22 points for the preparation of the Constitution and the first Constituent Assembly of the country declared the Objectives Resolution as the preamble of the Constitution of Pakistan and in accordance with the Quran and Sunnah.

He said that social justice is our basic need, efforts should be made regarding it.

Speaking at the seminar on the topic of “Quaid-e-Azam’s concept of justice”, eminent jurist and lawyer leader Sohail Baig Noori said that an independent state in the form of Pakistan came into being in the subcontinent only because of Quaid-e-Azam’s concept of justice. He said that the concept of Pakistan consisted of justice, truth, hard work and dedication. He thanked the organizers of Dawah Academy for organizing the seminar on the important topic. At the end of the seminar, certificates and a set of da’wah books were distributed.
