RDC HOLDS ISLAMIC TRAINING PROGRAM 

Regional Dawah Center RDC, Karachi, Dawah Academy, International Islamic University Islamabad organized “Islamic Training Program for Students” in collaboration with Department of Islamic Studies, Federal Urdu University, in which About 30 students from Department of Islamic Studies, Department of Psychology and other departments participated.

In the opening session of the workshop, Program Coordinator Dr. Shahzad Chana highlighted the aims and objectives of the program and gave a detailed introduction to Da’wah Academy, International Islamic University Islamabad. After that, Dr. Syed Aziz ur Rahman, in charge of Dawah Center, talked about “Seerah in the first three centuries”. He said that Urwa bin Zubair, Ibn Shahab Zahri, Muammar bin Rashid, Ibn Ishaq, Muhammad bin Umar Waqdi, Ibn Saad, Ibn Hisham are prominent Seerah writers of the first three centuries. From the workshop, renowned trainer and intellectual Nisar Musa Baloch discussed the “Islamic concept of leadership” and said that until righteous, intelligent, capable and compassionate leadership does not come forward, the country and society will not progress. He highlighted the Islamic concept of leadership through the bright examples of eminent leaders of Islamic history.

On the subject of “Team Management” in the workshop, renowned trainer and intellectual Tasnimul Haque Farooqi said that team management plays a fundamental role in the success of any work. He said that the students should work together in their lives and keep effective planning, vision and goals in mind for the completion of future projects so that success can become their destiny. In the program, the former head of the Department of Mass Communication of the University of Karachi, eminent intellectual Professor Dr. Mahmood Ghaznavi, discussed the positive and negative effects of the media. He said that social media, print and electronic media can be used positively in modern times to promote peace and stability in the society. He said that propaganda and negative talk spreads sensation but does not improve the society. Therefore, it is necessary that we follow the positive side of the media. In the program, Dr. Syed Aziz ur Rahman gave a detailed discussion regarding the preparation of the research paper. He apprised the students about the ongoing research, stages of research paper preparation and contemporary research activities. At the end, the participants were presented with the certificate of Dawah Academy.
