International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) celebrated its remarkable achievement in the latest QS (Quacquarelli Symonds) World University Rankings by organizing an appreciation ceremony, hosted by the Quality Assurance Directorate (QAD). The university has been recognized among the world’s top institutions, securing positions between 51-100 in the subject of Theology, Divinity & Religious Studies, and an impressive debut position of 351-400 in Mathematics.
The Worthy President IIU, H.E. Dr. Hathal Homoud Alotaibi, expressed his gratitude and extended congratulations to the academic and administrative staff of the University for their Exceptional Contribution to this prestigious accomplishment. He emphasized the importance of continued dedication and hard work, urging the university community to strive for excellence and ascend to the top positions in all global rankings in the future.
Dr. Hathal Hamoud described this achievement as the beginning of a new era of success for IIUI. During the ceremony, the IIU President presented certificates awarded by QS international ranking agencies to the Deans of the Faculty of Science (FOS), Faculty of Usuluddin (FOU), Faculty of Shari’ah and Law (FSL), and Faculty of Arabic (FOA). He commended the efforts of the team, particularly the Vice President’s office, the Research and Education Directorate, and the Quality Assurance and Development (QAD) Directorate, for their relentless commitment to ensuring a well-deserved placement in the global rankings.
At the end of ceremony Dr. Hathal vowed that the university’s leadership believes that the upcoming rankings will exhibit even more positive results, as several new reforms and initiatives have entered their advanced stages of implementation. These measures include the execution of the university’s strategic plan and academic audits, among others.
