H.E. Dr. Hathal Homoud Alotaibi, President, International Islamic University (IIU) visited the newly constructed Shariah Academy’s Hostel building, Medical Center and the new library block.
These new buildings are part of the infrastructural reforms of the President IIU, H.E. Dr. Hathal Homoud Alotaibi initiated in the light of the new strategic plan of the university.
During the visit of Shariah Academy’s Hostel block Project Director, Mr. Amir Ishtiaq briefed about overall work progress . He briefed that the project is about to complete in near future. Worthy President IIUI directed to further streamline all arrangements and expedite the finishing work in this regard.
H.E. Dr. Hathal also visited the Medical Centre and directed that high priority based medical facilities must be provided to the university students and officials. In-Charge Medical Centre Dr. Abdul Wakeel Hussain briefed about available facilities at newly built medical block. The medical officials also apprised of the operationalization, utilization of the new facilities and overall performance.
They also explained about the services in the new building, availability of the facilities including labs, available beds and per day visits of the patients. They apprised that 4 beds have been dedicated for the emergency. H.E. Dr. Hathal directed to ensure presence of an X-Ray Machine for diagnosis purposes at Medical Center for the facilitation of patients.
The IIUI President also visited the new block of the library that will be an addition as a separate building for the male students and scholars. He desired to ensure well-equipped and rich libraries for both and male and female students and directed that the newly constructed block be made operational at earliest. Worthy President showed satisfaction on the speedy completion of ongoing work made for the progressive works at campus.
On the occasion, Vice President Academics/ (A&F), Dr. Abdul Raheman, Vice President (Research & Enterprise, Dr. Ahmed Shuja Sayed, Director of the President’s Office, Dr. Ali Metab Alahmari, Project Director, Mr. Amir Ishtiaq from Planning Directorate, Project Coordinator, Mr. Bilal, Director Works, Inam Ul Haq, Director Administration & Works and other relevant officials accompanied by the Worthy President.
