President IIUI, Religious Affairs Minister Discuss Bilateral Cooperation in Education

 

Prof. Dr. Ahmed Saad Alahmed, President of the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI), held a discussion on educational cooperation with Federal Minister for Religious Affairs and Inter-Faith Harmony Sardar Muhammad Yousaf, during a dinner hosted by the Minister.

 

The meeting focused on strengthening bilateral ties in the domain of Islamic education, with particular emphasis on the promotion of the Arabic language, collaborative academic research, and the development of a roadmap for future joint initiatives. Both sides agreed on the need to formalize collaboration through Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) between IIUI and the Ministry of Religious Affairs (MORA).

 

Also present at the dinner were Maulana Ali Muhammad Turab, Senior Vice President of Markazi Jamiat Ahl-e-Hadith Pakistan; Prof. Sajjad Qamar, Advisor to the Minister; Mr. Hafiz Ahsan Ahmed Khokhar, former Senior Advisor Law/Registrar, Federal Ombudsman Secretariat; and Dr. Ali Metab Alahmari, Director President IIUI’s Office.

 

Participants pledged to work collectively for the promotion of Dawah, the propagation of Islam’s message of peace, and the effective utilization of IIUI’s expertise in Arabic language instruction, especially for non-Arab speakers.
