Prof. Dr. Ahmed Yousif Al-Draiweesh, President International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) has said that research must be relevant to the needs of the society and students and scholars must be urged to explore new and advanced avenues in the field of research. He was addressing to the meeting participants of 4th Meeting of Board of Advanced Studies (BASR-04) held on Thursday, February 20, 2020 in the Council Hall, Administration Block, IIUI. On this occasion the board members also shared valuable suggestions with President, IIUI and issued relevant recommendations and suggestions.
The Board discussed and analyzed synopses’ of PhD students of faculty of Engineering & Technology FET and faculty of Shariah & Law FSL, IIUI.
The meeting was also attended by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Tahir Khalily, Vice President (Academics), Prof. Dr. Aqdas Naveed Malik, Vice President (HS&R), Prof. Dr. Farkhanda Zia, Vice President (Female Campus), Prof. Dr. Amir, Secretary (BASR), Deans, Heads of departments and other relevant Officials of the university.
