PM Youth Programme Delegation Visits IIUI

As part of the ongoing evaluation and strategic enhancement of the Prime Minister’s Youth Development Centers (PMYDC), a delegation from the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme (PMYP) conducted an official visit to the PMYDC at the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI).

The visit was carried out under the directives of the Chairman of the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme and was led by Mr. Kamran Shakoor, Team Lead of PMYP and a member of the Prime Minister’s National Youth Council.

The agenda of the visit centered around a comprehensive review of the current activities and initiatives underway at the PMYDC, with a particular focus on evaluating project outcomes and conducting an impact assessment. The team aimed to identify key challenges hindering progress and explore avenues for enhanced performance. A detailed inspection of the PMYDC facilities and resources was also conducted to assess their effectiveness in promoting youth development and student engagement.

The delegation engaged with various stakeholders, including Directors, Advisors, and members of the Student Cabinet, in order to facilitate meaningful dialogue on strengthening the role of the PMYDC. These discussions contributed to the strategic planning for the upcoming year, with the objective of improving the outreach and operational efficiency of youth-focused initiatives.

During the visit, a comprehensive briefing was presented by Ms. Madiha Akram, In-Charge PMYDC, highlighting the center’s key achievements, ongoing challenges, and future plans. The delegation also met with Prof. Dr. Amna Mehmood, In-Charge of the Female Campus, to further discuss institutional support and collaboration for youth development programmes.

The visiting team comprised Mr. Kamran Shakoor (Team Lead), Mr. Jawad Ahmad (Team Member), and Ms. Arooj Shahbaz. The visit underscores the commitment of the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme to ensuring continuous monitoring, evaluation, and development of youth-centric platforms across the country.
