PIRSA Hosts First Inter-University Debate Competition

 

The Politics and International Relations Students Association (PIRSA) organized its first inter-university debate competition at CSPs Academy, Islamabad, drawing participation from leading institutions including International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI), Quaid-i-Azam University (QAU), National Defence University (NDU), National University of Modern Languages (NUML), and Bahria University.

 

The event was evaluated by a panel of faculty members representing the participating universities. Judges included Mr. Sohail, Mr. Bahrul Amin, Mr. Kalim, Mr. Irfan Mahsud, Mr. Attique, Mr. Abdul Rehman, Mr. Sami Safi, Mr. Shahab, and Mr. Osama Aziz.

 

Guests of honor included Dr. Manzoor Khan Afridi, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences at IIUI; Mr. Nasir Abbas Sherazi, President Centre for Pakistan and Gulf Studies (CPGS), Senior Lawyer, and IIUI faculty member; and Mr. Abdul Rahman, Senior Lecturer at CSPs Academy. Their presence added value to the occasion.

 

PIRSA extended its gratitude to the chief guests, judges, and students for their contributions to the event. The association encouraged students from various disciplines to participate in future academic and co-curricular initiatives.
