Evaluating team for accreditation from Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) called on Prof. Dr. Ahmed Yousif Al-Draiweesh at his office.
It was headed by Engnr. Prof. Dr. Mirza Jahanzaib, while Engnr. Fahad Noor and Engnr. Prof. Dr. Abdul Shakoor also accompanied him. The meeting was also attended by Vice President Academics Prof. Dr. Muhammad Tahir Khalily , Vice President (Acad), Dr.Muhammad Amir, Dean Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FET), Prof. Dr. Ahmed Shuja Syed, Advisor to the President IIUI.
During the meeting, matters pertaining to improvements and achievements in the fields of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering were discussed. Dr. Ahmed Yousif apprised of the IIUI goals, objectives, future plans , institutes , academies, faculties and departments. He said that IIUI always keeps all the matters on priority that are pertaining to accreditation. He also discussed in detailed the admission process, initiatives of improvements as per previous recommendations and arrangements of national and international conferences.
During the visit the team also visited the Mechanical and Electrical departments and laboratories. Detailed briefing was given to the team by faculty officials.
