MEETING OF BOARD OF ADVANCED STUDIES (BASR-21) HELD AT IIUI NEW CAMPUS

Research must be impartial and it should not neglect the proper application of research methodology, said Dr. Ahmad Yousif Al-Draiweesh, President International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) while chairing 21st Meeting of the Board of Advanced Studies & Research (BASR) held at New Campus of the university.

Prof. Dr. Muhammad Tahir Khalily, Vice President (Academics), Prof. Dr. Aqdas Naveed Malik, Vice President HS&R, Prof. Dr. Farkhanda Zia, Vice President, Female Campus, Prof. Dr. Amir, Secretary (BASR), Deans, Head of departments and other relevant Officials were also present in the meeting.

President, IIUI also directed the deans and head of departments to devise internal committees to evaluate research proposals to avoid overlapping of the subjects.

During the meeting, the board discussed and analyzed synopses’ of PhD students of Faculty of Social Sciences (FSS) and Faculty of Faculty of Languages and Literature (FLL). The board members also shared valuable suggestions with the President for future research work of the students. The Board issued instructions for students regarding research work.
