Islamic Research Institute (IRI), International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) organized 2nd workshop of IRI International Postdoctoral Fellows (Batch -II) on 26th to 27th August, 2019 at Allama Iqbal Auditorium, Faisal Masjid Campus International Islamic University Islamabad.
Eminent Professors including Prof. Dr. Qibla Ayaz, Chairman Council of Islamic Ideology Pakistan, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Khalid Masud, Ex. Chairman Council of Islamic Ideology & Director General IRI, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Zia-ul-Haq, Prof. Dr. Abdul Quddus Sohaib, Director, Islamic Research Centre, Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan, Prof. Dr. Nasir Mehmood Dean, Faculty of Education (AIOU), Prof. Dr. Irshad Ahmed Arshad, Chairman Department of Statistics, AIOU, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Basheer Khan, Faculty of Management Sciences, IIUI, Prof. Dr. Mansoor Ahmed Kundi, Faculty of Social Sciences, IIUI and Muhammad Ahmad Munir, Head, Department of Quranic Studies, IRI were the resource persons of this workshop.
In the presence of Eminent Scholars and Professors, the postdoctoral fellows presented their research proposals and improved it with the guidance of their valuable opinions. The Concluding Ceremony of this workshop was held on 27th August, 2019 in Allama Iqbal Auditorium, International Islamic University (Faisal Masjid Campus). Prof. Dr. Muhammad Khalid Masud, expressed his view to establish the research cohesion in Pakistan with scientific, modern and standard methodology. He recommended the fellows to remove weaknesses from their research proposals and improve it to meet the international standards of research. In the end certificates were distributed among Postdoctoral Fellows.
