IRD HOLDS TRAINING WORKSHOP FOR TEACHERS

Profess Dr. Masoom Yasinzai, Rector, International Islamic University (IIU) appreciating the government’s initiative of uniformed syllabus, has emphasized that there is a dire need to bring Madaris into the main stream of education system.
Addressing the inaugural ceremony of a three day long Madrassa training workshop organized by Iqbal International Institute for Research and Dialogue (IRD), Dr. Masoom stressed that training of Madrassah teachers is a dire need of hour. He added that these are the institutions that may provide a balanced youth equipped with the latest knowledge and blended with the Islamic teaching and values.
Dr. Masoom appreciating the activity said that teachers at Madaris are the most vital ones as they are the builders of nation, they must be provided such opportunities of learning and updating the knowledge through useful platforms such as IRD. The opening session was addressed by Head Jamia Naeemia, Lahore, Mufti Raghib Hussain Naeemi who hailed efforts of IRD and said collaborations with IRD shall be a source of best results in religious education, teaching and research.
On the occasion, Executive Director IRD, Dr. Husnul Amin apprised of the details, schedule and objectives of workshop. He vowed that such workshops shall continue with double frequency in future.
