The female campus organized Inter Hostel Sports competitions at the gymnasium.
The two day long activity was jointly arranged by Students’ Advisor Office, Provost Office and Sports Office.
The opening ceremony witnessed exciting games among female players as they participated actively and enthusiastically in in the events.
A mix team of EFG blocks won the Volleyball Competition whereas 1st position in Tug of War was clinched by G block.
Addressing the gala ceremony, Vice president Female Campus, Dr. Farkhanda Zia appreciated the efforts of Advisor Office, Provost Office and Sports Office for arranging refreshing events after hue of COVID-19.
Dr. Sumayya Chughtai (Students’ Advisor female ), Dr. Humaira Ishfaq (Provost female) and Nadia Mukhtar (Asst. Director Sports) also joined the opening ceremony.
Dr. Summaya said that the competition was organized purely for the female students to engage them in healthy activities amd to eradicate the trauma of pandemic being experienced universally
Dr. Humaira said on the occasion that sports can help young girls to boost self confidence and improve their physical and mental well being.
At the end she distributed the prizes among the winner and runner-up teams of Inter Hostel Competitions.
