MianwaliAn International Seminar on “Problems of Muslim World and Their Solution” was held in Mianwali in collaboration with Jamia Akbaria on Sunday 9 August, 2009. Sahibzada Muhammad Abdul Malik, Principal of the Jamia Akbaria presided over the function. He lauded the efforts of IRD, IIUI to come at Mianwali in such a hot weather. He addressed the current circumstances of the country and also role of Muslim Ummah. He stressed the need of harmony, patience and tolerance in the society and country. Dr. Mumtaz Ahmad, Executive Director, IRD, IIUI delivered his keynote address. He congratulated the organizers on the success of the seminar. He discussed relations of Muslim world with USA and unveiled weaknesses of Muslim world. His impartial analysis, bold and thought provoking speech impressed the audience and they expressed their excitement and love. People of Mianwali were delighted on his arrival in Mianwali. Dr. Iftekhar addressed on “the Ethnicity, Religion and Forms of National Imagination in Bangladesh”. Renowned columnist Khurshid Ahmad Nadeem and notable scholars of Mianwali also shared their views at this occasion. |
