Mr. Samsu Rizal Charge d’ Affairs Indonesian Embassy Islamabad visited International Islamic University Islamabad and called on Dr. Bashir Khan Vice President Academics IIUI discussed mutual interests.

n Diplomat was accompanied with Mr. Suartono First Secretary Indonesian Embassy and Mr. Faiz Aaulana Head of Protocol of Consular. Samsu Rizal wowed to extend mutual cooperation in educational matters with Islamic University and to expand the scope of bilateral relations between Indonesian Universities and IIU.
He was of the view that students graduated from Islamic University are on
key positions and contributing with very effective role in various institutions of Indonesia. Indonesian Diplomat also acknowledged the services and contribution of IIUI for Muslim Ummah.
Samsu also proposed to advance the cooperation and collaboration between IIUI and Indonesian Embassy to facilitate more students. Dr Mohammad Bashir appreciated the proposal to promote bilateral cooperation a
nd assured that the university would contribute its positive role for this development. Vice President said the IIUI always prefer to expand bilateral educational ties with the Muslim world, particularly universities and educational institutions.
