BS ACCOUNTING & FINANCE

The BS Accounting & Finance program is designed for individuals who want to develop a career in the areas of finance, accounting, banking and auditing. It is focused program that provides rigorous training in developing analytical and decision‐making skills. Program Goals and objective.
The aim of the program is to give students an understanding of accounting and finance that will be useful throughout their career. We require students to master some techniques, and to understand their practical applications.  The aim is to help students to develop an understanding, that not only is accounting and finance as a discipline concerned with computational skill but, more importantly, it is central to the way in which both management internally, and also various stakeholders externally (including investors, lenders, customers, the government and the public) perceive, understand, and seek to change and control the nature of organizations and the ways in which resources are allocated to and by them;

Strongly emphasizing the development of analytical skills, the courses offer solid grounding and professional competencies in all aspects of accounting and finance required for careers in numerous sectors. This course covers not only in-depth courses relating to accounting and finance, but also focuses on other relevant courses such as business research methods, business communication and management ethics. We expect students to engage with both theory and practice, and to develop a critical understanding of how Accounting and Finance operate in a range of different institutional settings.
