Faculty Required:

Applications are invited from qualified persons for the position of Professor and Associate Professor (Male and Female) in following disciplines on Temporary/Contract Basis: Pay Package (Equivalent to that of TTS).

  1. Economics
  2. Management Sciences
  3. Mathematics
  4. Computer Science

A: Requirement for Professor on TTS for All disciplines  
i)  Ph.D from a recognized and reputable Institution in the relevant field;

ii) 11-years post-Ph.D experience    OR
7 years post-Ph.D plus 12 years before Ph.D (i.e.3 years before Ph.D = one year post Ph.D in the relevant field) in a recognized university or a post-graduate institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization;

iii) 15 research publications (with at least 5 publications in the past 5 years) in internationally abstracted Journals recognized for the purpose of appointment on Tenure Track by the HEC

B: Requirement for Associate Professor on TTS for All disciplines  
 i) Ph.D from a recognized and reputable Institution in the relevant field;

ii) 6-year post-Ph.D experience   OR
    4-year post-Ph.D experience, plus 6 years before Ph.D (i.e. 3 years before Ph.D = one year post Ph.D in the relevant field) in a recognized university or a post-graduate institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a national or International Organization;

iii) 10 research publications (with at least 4 publications in the past 5 years) in internationally abstracted journals recognized for the purpose of appointment on TTS by the HEC.

Note:

  1. IIU reserves the right to shortlist the candidates and to reject any/all applications without assigning any reason.
  2. Two sets of applications on the prescribed Application Form available at IIUI website www.iiu.edu.pk duly completed in all respects along-with crossed Postal Order/Pay Order/Bank Draft for Rs.300/- in favor of International Islamic University Islamabad are required.
  3. Attested photocopies of degrees/diplomas/certificates/testimonials, domicile, CNIC, and experience certificates etc. must be attached.
  4. Candidates already working in Government, Semi-Government and Autonomous Organizations in Pakistan must apply through proper channel.
  5. The last date for receipt of applications is October 26, 2012 in HR–V Section, Human Resource Department, Admin Block, International Islamic University, H-10 Campus, Islamabad. Incomplete or late received applications will not be entertained.
  6. Number of posts shall be considered according to the available position at the time of selection. The University reserves the right to cancel any advertised post without assigning any reason.
