The Faculty of Science at the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) will organize INNO-VENT 2025: From Research Bench to Market on April 30, 2025. The event aims to promote research, innovation, and entrepreneurship among students and faculty.
Organized in collaboration with the Business Incubation Centre (BIC), Science, Technology and Business Space (STBS), and the Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC), the event will provide a platform for presenting research and business proposals. Participants will compete for prizes and receive feedback from a panel of experts.
BS, MS, and PhD students are encouraged to submit their proposals by April 25, 2025. Winning entries will receive incubation support and cash awards. The top three winners will be offered incubation periods of three, two, and one month respectively.
To ensure broad participation, the event will be held at two locations: the Science, Technology and Business Space (STBS) for male participants, and the Department of Biological Sciences, Female Campus for female participants.
INNO-VENT 2025 is being coordinated by the Industrial Linkages and Commercialization Working Group under ORIC-IIUI. The university community is invited to attend and support the initiative, which connects academic work with practical application.
