Two students from the Faculty of Shariah and Law of International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI), Tayyaba Munir and Momina Zaigham, were awarded appreciation shields by Rector IIUI, Professor Dr. Samina Malik, after their successful participation in the prestigious OIC Ombudsman Association (OICOA) Internship Exchange Program.
The program, held at the Institution of Mediator in the Kingdom of Morocco from July 1 to July 21, marked a significant achievement for the students and the university.
Both students were selected for this exchange following the successful completion of their internships at the Federal Tax Ombudsman Secretariat in Islamabad. Their participation showcased the high-quality training and education provided by IIUI.
During their meeting with the Rector, the students shared insights from their exposure to mediation laws and the administrative framework and need of creating awareness in this regard.
Rector, Dr. Samina Malik praised the students for their outstanding representation of Pakistan and IIUI on an international platform, emphasizing that they have proven to be valuable assets to the university. She also reiterated the university’s commitment to highlighting the accomplishments of its high-achieving students and alumni.
