IIUI Students Attend Launch of Prime Minister Digital Youth Hub

A group of 82 students and officials from the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) took part in the launch of the Prime Minister Digital Youth Hub Program at the Pak-China Friendship Center, Islamabad. The delegation was led by Dr. Ghufran Ahmed, Students’ Advisor (Male Campus), who was nominated by the Vice President (Academics) to attend the event, along with Dr. Hameeda Akhtar, Deputy Students’ Advisor (Female Campus).

The event brought together representatives from the United Nations (UN), UNICEF, government bodies, industry leaders, and academia to discuss the role of digital technology in shaping future employment opportunities. The Prime Minister Digital Youth Hub App, described as the first of its kind, aims to connect young job seekers and scholarship aspirants with national and international organizations through artificial intelligence.

Speaking at the event, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif stressed the importance of digital transformation in driving economic growth and empowering youth. He highlighted how the initiative could enhance employment prospects and foster international collaborations. The program’s launch reflects Pakistan’s commitment to bridging the gap between education and industry while embracing digital innovation.
