The International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Rawal Institute of Health Sciences to facilitate on-panel medical treatment for its employees, their dependents, and parents.
Under the agreement, the hospital will provide indoor medical services to IIUI employees on a credit basis, as part of the university’s ongoing efforts to enhance healthcare support for its community.
The signing ceremony was held at IIUI’s new campus. Commodore (Rtd.) Aziz Mumtaz, Director Operations, signed the MoU on behalf of the Rawal Institute, while Dr. Inam ul Haq, Director Administration, signed on behalf of the university. The delegation from Rawal Hospital included Mr. Afzal Butt, Senior Manager Operations, and Mr. Naseer, Assistant Manager Panels.
From IIUI, the ceremony was attended by Mr. Atiq Ur Rehman Chughtai, Director HRM&D, Mr. Noor Husain, In-Charge Finance, Mr. Bilal Awan, In-Charge Audit, and other university officials.
Speaking on the occasion, representatives of the Rawal Institute briefed attendees on the hospital’s facilities and services, reiterating their commitment to providing quality healthcare to the university fraternity.
Dr. Inam ul Haq lauded the collaborative efforts of the Finance, Audit, HRM&D, and Administration departments in finalizing the agreement. He also acknowledged the guidance and support of Vice President (Administration & Finance), Prof. Dr. Abdur Raheman.
Dr. Inam mentioned the efforts of Mr. Bilal Awan for playing a pivotal role in successful implementation of the new medical Facility and bringing state of the art hospitals on panel for indoor medical treatment of IIU employees and their dependents.
It is pertinent to mention that IIUI has signed similar agreements with several hospitals to extend on-panel healthcare services to its employees, students, and their families. These partnerships allow access to emergency, planned, and subsidized treatments on a credit basis.
The university management reaffirmed its commitment to expanding healthcare collaborations with reputable institutions to further strengthen medical support for the IIUI community.
