IIUI Showcases Groundbreaking Startups at Investment Connect Event ICE 2025

The International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) made a notable impact at the Investment Connect Event (ICE) 2025, held at Serena Hotel, Islamabad.

Organized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan, the event provided a platform for emerging entrepreneurs and established innovators to present their cutting-edge solutions to industry leaders, investors, and policymakers.

Representing IIUI’s Business Incubation Centre, two promising startups, Arm Rehab Technologies and Circular Energies PVT Limited, showcased their groundbreaking advancements in healthcare and sustainable energy.

Arm Rehab Technologies presented its state-of-the-art rehabilitation solutions, aimed at transforming patient care with innovative therapeutic technologies designed to enhance recovery outcomes. Meanwhile, Circular Energies PVT Limited highlighted its sustainable energy initiatives, emphasizing renewable resources and efficient energy management as vital components of a green economy.

The event underscored the importance of collaboration between academia, industry, and policymakers in driving technological advancement and economic growth. IIUI’s participation reflects its commitment to fostering a culture of research, innovation, and entrepreneurship.

Speaking at the occasion, Mr. Muhammad Ahsen Mirza, Director of the Business Incubation Centre at IIUI, praised the potential of the university’s startups, stating, “We are excited about the groundbreaking innovations emerging from academic institutions”.
He added that startups like Arm Rehab Technologies and Circular Energies PVT Limited are not only contributing to technological advancement but also aligning with Pakistan’s vision for sustainable development and economic prosperity.
