IIUI President Visits Injured Bus Driver, Assures Full Support

President, International Islamic University, Islamabad (IIUI), Prof. Dr. Ahmed Saad Alahmed, on Saturday visited Mr. Mudassir, a university bus driver who was injured in an accident on his way home three days ago.

Mudassir sustained a fractured leg in the accident and underwent surgery earlier today at the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) Hospital, Islamabad. His treatment is being carried out in accordance with the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between the International Islamic University, Islamabad, and the Pakistan Air Force Hospital, under which IIUI employees are entitled to medical facilities at PAF hospitals. Consequently, there is no financial liability on the driver for his treatment.

During the visit, the President inquired after his health and assured him of the University’s full support during his recovery. He expressed prayers for Mudassir’s swift and complete recovery and hoped to see him resume duty soon after recuperation.
Prof. Dr. Ahmed Saad Alahmed reaffirmed that IIUI stands firmly with its employees in times of adversity, emphasizing the University’s commitment to staff welfare. He appreciated the dedication and hard work of the transport department, which plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth and safe commuting for the university community.
