Prof Dr Mohammad Mukhtar, Vice Chancellor National Skill University (NSU), Islamabad called on Prof. Dr. Ahmed Yousif Al-Draiweesh at his office.
During the meeting, mutual academic cooperation was discussed. Particularly , misconceptions about human evaluation was the main point of discussion. It was agreed on the occasion that a conference dedicated to the topic of evolution in the light of Islam will be jointly organized.
Dr. Ahmed Yousif vowed that IIUI will provide all possible support to hold this important moot. He said human evolution is through Hazrat e Adam and there are no grounds of wrong concepts being infused in the minds of children through science and biology books. He opined that Muslims societies have to make it a priority to let youth learn about truth and teachings of Islam.
The meeting concluded with an agreement of formation of special committee in the chairmanship of IIUI President, while VC AIOU, VC Skill University and VC Quaid e Azam University will be the members of the committee.
It was also agreed on the occasion that Higher Education Commission and Ministry of Education will be contacted for cooperation to make this conference successful.
