IIUI PRESIDENT TAKES DECISIONS ON RECENT INCIDENT

President International Islamic University Islamabad Dr. Ahmed Yousif Al-Draiweesh, after consultation with the relevant committee of the recent incident, decided that university will not compromise on peace at campus, while those who will be found guilty in the unfortunate happening will face strict action.

In a meeting, with the members of special committee, Dr. Al-Draiweesh decided that prayer in absentia will be offered for the student who lost his precious life in the violent incident.

IIUI President directed that those students who entered into female campus must be brought to face strict action through discipline committee.

In the meeting, security Incharge and Legal Advisor were directed to properly follow the case  and case of arrested students be sent to discipline committee as well.

IIUI president directed the committee to finalize its findings and recommendations as soon as possible.

Relevant officers including Vice President Administration, Director Finance and Director Audit were directed to submit details of those students who availed scholarships so that transperancy be checked in this matter.

University condemns involvement of all outsiders and external elements who were involved in the incident and a legal action will be taken against them.

It was recommended that Dawah Academy will hold special programs and training to keep students peaceful and nurture them to bring patience in society.

IIUI President directed that connection and interaction with students be enhanced and they must be taught to respect the objective of IIUI and desires of parents.
