IIUI PRESIDENT PRESENTS PAPER ON EDUCATION IN UNIVERSITY OF OXFORD

Dr. Ahmed Yousif Al-Draiweesh, President International Islamic University in Islamabad (IIUI) presented a research paper in Education Research Symposium at Harris Manchester College in the University of Oxford.

In his paper Dr. Ahmed Yousif Al-Draiweesh discussed international theories and practices in the field of education.

Professor Al-Draiweesh stressed upon importance of effective teaching, learning and the training of faculty member at the university level. He opined that concept maps were proved as effective tools for developing students’ concepts.

He also shared his teaching experiences at university of Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He apprised the audience that IIIUI was eager to boost bilateral educational ties with universities across the world and also briefed about already functional international MoUs. The symposium was also attended by Dr. Nabi Bux Jummani, Director, Distance Learning at IIUI.
