IIUI PRESIDENT PARTICIPATES IN CONFERENCE ON STATE-BUILDING JURISPRUDENCE IN EGYPT

The President of the International Islamic University in Islamabad, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Yousif Al-Draiweesh participated in 30th International Conference of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs of the Egyptian Ministry of Endowments in Cairo under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi. The conference was aimed to discuss contemporary views of citizenship within Islam.

The conference came under the title: ‘State-building Jurisprudence…A Modern Jurisprudence Vision,’ with the participation of about 500 figures from different countries including ministers of endowments, muftis, and presidents of Islamic councils from 57 countries, including 20 African nations.

The participation of the President of the University in this important global conference is part of his efforts to introduce IIUI on international forums and conferences.

The conference was attended by prominent scientific and academic personalities, ministers and senior scholars from several Islamic countries and others. IIUI President briefed the participants on the current efforts of the International Islamic University in the service of Islam and Muslims. He also discussed with the participants in the conference about progress of the educational system.

IIUI President emphasized on building bridges of cooperation and communication between educational institutions of the Muslim world.

He elaborated that university administration and faculty are committed to address the challenges of hour and provide solution to the problems of Muslim world.
