Amid his visit to Lahore, President, International Islamic University, Islamabad (IIUI), Dr. Ahmed Yousif Al-Draiweesh, called on President of Lahore Islamic University , Maulana Abdur Rehman Madni.
Earlier, IIUI President was received by the Head, Jamiya Ashrafia, Lahore and also Nazim of Jamiya Hafiz Asad Ubaid and other officials, where he spoke to media on Pakistan-Saudi Arabia relations and delivered a lecture to the students of university. IIUI President also participated in a program in LUMS.
Meeting was attended by a number of officials of the Lahore Islamic University and its professors, while a number of topics such as cooperation between the two universities in the light of a memorandum of understanding and cooperation already signed. It was agreed in the occasion that activities of joint venture will be expedited.
The President of the University conveyed to His Excellency Sheikh Madni greetings and appreciation from the side of Dr. Sulaiman bin Abdullah Aba Al-Khail, Pro-Chancellor, IIUI and thanked him for his untiring efforts of progress of Muslim world.
IIUI President said that initiatives of Sheikh Al-Madni from the platform of the university such as in the field of scientific progress and moderation.
The Head of the Islamic University said that IIUI is a unique hub of learning which has is providing best quality education to the students of Muslim world. He hailed that university that it was providing best platforms to the scholars of Muslim world and its youth.
