The newly appointed President of the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI), Prof. Dr. Ahmed Saad Al-Ahmed, held an interactive session with international students on his first day in office, assuring them that their issues will be resolved on a priority basis.
During the meeting, the IIUI President listened attentively to the concerns shared by the international students and emphasized that international students are an integral part of the university’s academic community. He assured them that all genuine concerns would be addressed promptly and no student issue would go unheard.
“The presence of international students adds diversity, depth, and strength to the university’s environment,” said Dr. Al-Ahmed. “Your problems are my responsibility, and I will ensure that they are resolved without delay,” he added.
The international students expressed gratitude for being invited for a direct dialogue with the university’s top leadership on his very first day. They said they were overwhelmed by the gesture and felt honoured that their feedback especially shared through social media was not only acknowledged but acted upon immediately.
“This is the first time we feel truly heard. It is a matter of great respect that the President of IIUI called us for a meeting based on what we voiced online. It shows that our concerns matter,” remarked a student representative.
The meeting was part of the President’s broader vision of inclusivity, open-door policy, and student-centric governance at IIUI. Dr. Al-Ahmed reaffirmed that the university’s progress lies in empowering its students and resolving their academic and administrative challenges without delay.
