Dr Hathal bin Hamoud Al-Otaibi Tuesday held a meeting with Deans of the faculties.
The meeting was attended by Vice President Academics Prof Dr. Ahmed Shuja Syed and all the 8 Deans and DG International Institute if Islamic Economics.
The Deans briefed the chair about various departments of their faculties, offered degree programs , landscape of research and development and matters pertaining to faculty.
IIUI President, on the occasion emphasized upon importance of Online Distance Learning saying that it is a useful mode of academic learning. Dr. Hathal, while appreciating the efforts on the liaison between Higher Education Commission and other accreditation bodies said that IIUI will make efforts for international accreditation.
Dr. Hathal said IIUI has a unique importance as it adresses problems of the scoiety with the help of research and in light of Islamic teachings. He desired that research relevant to the societal needs must be encouraged.
