A dinner reception was hosted by Dr. Hathal Homoud Alotaibi , President, International Islamic University, Islamabad (IIUI) in honor of H.E. Professor Dr. Saleh bin Abdullah bin Humaid, Imam e Kaaba.
I am thankful for the exemplary hospitality of the IIUI management, said H.E. Professor Dr. Saleh bin Abdullah bin Humaid. He said that the University Rector and President deserve appreciation as university held a very constructive and successful conference on the topic of “Protection of Human Life in Shariah and Law”.
Imam e Kaaba said that we have very clear concept that IIUI is truly serving the Muslim world. I would also like to thank the Ambassador of Saudi Arabia Honourable Nawaf Said Almalki and Education Minister Madad Ali Sindhi who have been with me since my arrival in all the programs. He said that IIUI is famous nationally and internationally for quality education, international character and academic excellence. He added that its not my first visit to IIUI but this time I specially came to join this conference on a very important topic that is about the protection of human life. He said it is appreciable that both IIUI and Islamic Fiqh Academy Jeddah have jointly collaborated for this conference.
He opined that both the institutions have similar vision and scope that is quite a positive omen for the constructive change in the Muslim societies. He mentioned about his meetings with the President of Pakistan, political figures and scholars of country. He said every meeting reflected that we have same destination. Imam e Kaaba said that in the meeting with President of Pakistan H.E. Dr. Arif Alvi various issues of interest were discussed and we found that there are a number of things which are common on both sides and can help in making the bilateral relations even stronger. He said that Saudi nation has immense love for Pakistanis in their heart and this visit has doubled the respect for Pakistani people in my heart.
On the occasion, Minister for Education. Madad Ali Sindhi said that I am happy and honoured that I am with Imam e Kaaba during his gracious visit to Pakistan. He said I would like to once again thank H.E. Professor Dr. Saleh bin Abdullah bin Humaid for his visit and participation in conference and allied activities.
On the occasion, President, International Islamic University (IIU), Dr. Hathal Homoud Alotaibi thanked Imam e Kaaba for his gracious visit to IIUI. He also thanked the Ambassador of Saudi Arabia, H.E. Nawaf Said Almalki and caretaker Education Minister, H.E. Madad Ali Sindhi for continuous support of university and attending the dinner reception. He said due to the support of these valuable personalities and offices the university is on the track of progress. He apprised of the IIUI’s new strategic plan, its reforms for digitisation and infrastructural initiatives. He told that the university, by next semester, will completely adopt the campus management system.
Other than the Saudi Ambassador, H.E. Nawaf Said Almalki the dinner was also attended by Rector IIUI, Prof. Dr. Samina Malik, Vice Presidents of university, prominent personalities, renowned journalists and diplomats.
