Dr. Hathal bin Hamoud Al-Otaibi President, International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) Tuesday directed to ensure strict implementation of SoPs of COVID-19.
Chairing a meeting with Deans and officials of the academic and examination offices, he said that since educational institutions are facing closure amid rise in the cases, therefore, university must prepare an alternative plan to continue the academic process in case of any . He desired that relevant officials must deliberate and mull over alternative druthers of teaching and learning within 10 days.
Dr. Hathal showed satisfaction that all the taken samples for Covid-19 were negative and university was safe for academic activity.
In his remarks regarding SOPs, the IIUI President said that importance of safe learning process cannot be over-emphasized. He said that on campus health and wellbeing of everyone is of paramount importance. He desired that all the Deans and administrative officers must ensure strict implementation of SOPs of COVID-19. He urged IIUI population to wear masks at campus.
He maintained that these are the times when we have to care for lives of human beings around us. He also directed to sensitize the students to not share belongings, avoiding gatherings and not bringing non-students to campus or hostels.
