Dr. Hathal bi Homoud Al-Otaibi, on Monday, chaired a meeting of snap checking committee to review the implementation of the Covid-19 SOPs. On the occasion, relevant officers apprised the chair on various initiatives taken for on campus safety and implementation of SOPs.
The meeting was attended by Prof.Dr. N.B. Jumani, Vice President (AF&P), Prof. Dr. Ahmed Shuja Syed, Vice President Academics, Prof. Dr. Farkhanda Zia, Vice President Female Campus, Director Administration, Director Transport &HR, Provosts and Students Advisor.
On the occasion, the IIUI President directed that use of masks must be ensured and no stone should be left unturned to make IIUI a safe place for academic activities. Dr. Hathal also desired that daily monitoring of the SOPs must be ensured and the chair be updated accordingly.
IIUI President said that importance of safe learning process cannot be over-emphasized. He said that on campus health and wellbeing of everyone is of paramount importance. He desired that all the Deans and administrative officers must ensure strict implementation of SOPs of COVID-19.
He maintained that these are the times when we have to care for lives of human beings around us. He also directed to sensitize the students to not share belongings, avoiding gatherings and not bringing non-students to campus or hostels.
