Dr. Ahmed Yousif Al-Draiweesh, President IIUI has directed for uplifting the academic needs of talented students and desired to facilitate needy and deserving students through award of Need Based Scholarships.
He was chairing a meeting of institutional scholarships award committee for OGDCL need base scholarships here at new campus of the university. The meeting was also attended by Vice President IIUI Dr. Muhammad Munir, Director Academics Dr. Muhammad Tahir Khalily, Director Finance Saif ur Rehman, Director female campus Dr. Samina Malik, Add. Director Finance, Nuzhat Zareen and other officials of the finance department.
During the meeting, matters pertaining to HEC need base scholarships, selection procedure of award of need base scholarships and details of recommended applicants were discussed.
As per an MoU between Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) and IIUI, the university will be provided as many as 25 need-cum-merit based scholarships worth 37 million.
